Recycle: Put a Superhero on Your Butt!

Thor pantiesI am really passionate about changing people’s minds in how they look at the clothing aspect of plus size. I also love charity shops and raking through friends closets to remake and reuse. Upscaling is the bomb. My biggest bugbear in plus size clothing is fast fashion. I have the cheaply made with poor fabrics and badly cut patterns that only look nice once, fall apart immediately or shrink into odd shapes at first wash. And the fit of the clothes means massive armholes and crap sleeves that are too short on the body. Finally, WTF is up with the fabric choices and colours? No one needs to be in bright orange/yellow made out of too thin cotton stretch you can see your pants through?

BREATHE ABI!

So, when a friend dropped a literal sack load of T-shirts in my lap, my lingerie obsessed heart went straight into the gutter. Yep, you guessed it, there is more way to reuse those comedy, con and superhero masterpieces than just making masks. Knickers. (And there’s enough leftover fabric for a couple of masks too.)

Today I am going to share with you a tutorial for making panties from t-shirts. PLUS I am giving away a basic panty pattern for free: https://www.patreon.com/posts/33999713.
